Was that the last 990 record?

Yep, in 2006 (Vale held that record 2.00.605)

Oh, just great.

Apologies for crap formatting, dunno why!

Rossi's been incredible on 'soft' tyres, but I think Stoner is still the favourite on race tyres, he did 2'01.4 twice. Fresh engines for Rossi and Lorenzo tomorrow.

Funny moment at the end of the last laps, it seems all bikes had some problem with showing lap time on the dash. When he set the final fastest lap and he couldn't recognize his as the best lap, Rossi said he thought 'what the heck, who else did 2'00.5?'

There are still two 990 records out there,
Valencia and Donnington

I usually don't take much notice regarding what the riders say, unless it can explain their performance in on way or the other, and stoners complaints to day is a just another good example for why I won't take notice. He complain about how they went the wrong way with the settings but at the same time sat out lot's of the first part of the practice.
I've said it before and I say it again: The way he tries do dominate every session with as few laps as possible will backfire. Just a minor one today, I hope not to see the big one; a major hi speed high side on almost warm enough tires.
