Super impressive. He beat some proper good riders. I was hoping he would get a shot on the petronas bike but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

I can understand taking SDK... Gagne is older but damn fast!

Looked slow when Cam Beaubier was his team mate. Garrett Gerloff looks impressive in World Superbikes, but he’s not had the best of luck lately.

Yeah he did... makes you wonder if first rider was getting better equipment... 16 straight was pretty impressive.

I really don’t know mate, Cam was unbelievably fast and consistent, he always seemed to gap the field so easily. I’m quite surprised he hasn’t been a bigger hit in moto2, although he’s certain to need time to get used to the change in bike and tracks.
I’m hoping SDK has more instant success, but years on road based machinery will likely make it a challenge.
I have to say, Gerloff impressed me no end, with his outing on the Yamaha M1. It’s a shame he hasn’t been considered for a seat in the 2022 SRT team.
