Motorland Aragon is hosting the 2011 Superbikes races as well as the following 2 years. Schedule i'm reading says beginning of April, but the date is not yet fixed. I'd be a good time to check out the track if anyone is up for some good racing! SBK is not followed much in Spain. Kind of wierd... The crowds won't be massive and it shouldn't be a problem finding a hotel. I'm sure I'll be going.

And I know this isn't GP related, but since I don't venture much into the other topics I figured in here it would get the most views!!

Its as good a place as any other to post it Bat. It is GP related because the last GP was at this venue. Sucks that Spain doesn't follow WSBK as its been some of the best racing in the last few years. I don't get why not, but whatever.

With GP we have full coverage of everything all weekend on the local TVE. Superbikes you are searching for it through the channels and they often times only show one of the races and the second sometime at night. I don't think any local channel is airing it this year. There is not much Spanish money, or Spanish riders in SBK, so there is not much local draw. I don't think any local channel is airing it this year. I think it might have something to do with body size of most Spanish riders. Although Xaus did some good things in SBK. It's all right with me though, I'm not a huge crowd person. Should make the track more personal and accessible.

Can't wait. Just hope there aren't any Monza-like catastrophe's at the first turn.

soooo........SHAZAM!!!!!

Wow, what kind of speed will the Aprilla or BMW hit down the back straight? I personally think this will be a great venue for the Superbikes. Agree with Lex though, hope we have no first turn crashes.
