his performance was great all weekend, right until his incident with Torres at the end of QP (Kallio 'only' hit Cortese's bike when it veered back onto the track). and in the race, still, with a broken bone in his foot and clearly in pain, he finished a respectable 8th - his best Moto2 finish so far, I believe. In general, however, while Sandro is fast, no doubt, he needs a lot of guidance. He did show what he can do this way when he became Moto3 champion for Ajo KTM Factory squad, an experienced and strong team. So when he joined the Dynavolt team for Moto2, he found himself new in an ultra-competitive class riding for a new, unexperienced and thus rather 'weak' team, which is why he struggled a lot in 2013. but both he and the team learned a lot from last year and seem much, much better prepared for this season. honestly, I didn't expect this from Sandro, but I hope he can continue this process throughout the season.
