That Dorna has informed AMA/ DMG that their club racing rules will not be in play when they run the GP/ AMA event at Laguna. No safety car or now,no safety Buell and no rolling starts.

Why don't they drop the AMA on that weekend and just add the 125 and 250 class?

That would be awesome, but i think its a money thing it must cost a lot of money to bring the bikes over. Laguna is less than a month away i cant wait

I think it's because 2 strokers are out-lawed in the sunny state.

Weird, I always thought vehicles used in motorsport/private, closed-off grounds were exempty from road laws. At least from the parts of the world I've been to.

Didn't know there were rolling starts in the AMA, that can't be real?!

they race the redbull rookies around laguna so thats not it, it must be a cost thing plus the ama races too means just not enough time to get all the bikes around in one day..

I knew it and still think it can't be real. It is about as ........ as it can get. Now if the taxicabs had standing starts I might at least watch for a few minutes. Of course a standing start at a restrictor plate race would still be like watching a Prius race.

I actually remember it being mentioned by the commentators that the 2 strokers were not allowed because of the regulations either during or the match before Laguna last year. I could be wrong though.

We race 2-strokes mx in California, I'm not aware of a law saying the 2-strokes are banned from California???

Might just be another excuse to try and stomp out the smoker. Trying to get people to buy more 4 strokes.

I just realized how much you look like nicky hayden!

Its nothing to do with 2 strokes, its a money issue, cos Toby & Julian say it every year.
