That's fair enough Kesh, but my experience was when I post posting about my racing antic here, Barry started the attacks on me, saying I was ..... at prepping engines, had no idea what I was doing and he could beat me any day of the week. Only then did I comment about his animal fetish.
Had he been supportive and offered advice like Rog did for example, then we'd probably be friends and I too would have found him charming. But he wasn't so I don't.

At one time being hated by this guy was like an elite club with a membership of one; but everybody is jumping on the bandwagon. You, Mick, Migs, Props et al are just a bunch of Johnny Come Latelys. Barry has returned to have an audience with the king. Even that sly devil JKD has managed several times to be told to STFU by his Highness. Soon PowerSlide will be chockablock with folks lining up to get their fair share of abuse. Everybody wants in on the fun. Kinda getting crowded in here. You know the old Groucho Marx line: I never want to be a part of any club that would have me as a member? If he starts hatin' on Jum, I'm going to switch sides; me being the "Lone Wolf" type and all.

I too like seeing Barry on the forum, partly because he can have some good insights when being serious, but also because abashed he is not.
He can clearly look after himself. Criticise JPS for inaccuracy in his comments, or failed humour if you think humour was his aim, but I don't think Barry needs any help from you.
Again, I have never had a problem with discussing bike racing with you, but I too can do without the sermons.

Thanks to those who fell for it completely, and acted sufficiently outraged since it was useful in highlighting the massive double standard that exists on this forum with certain posters. Kesh did his usual drive-by attack post last night, and Dr. No, someone who's user name I can't remember, and a couple of others who either ignored it, or were silent. Congratulations on that and thanks for playing.
