Insulting Dani, talking out of your ... or being one usually does the trick. Unfortunately you're late, it's one of my new year's resolutions. I even have Pinky out!

Teo is a Spanish rider fan particularly Dani Pedrosa. This should give you a clue why I was on his ignore list.

LINK (Teo, please, have a laugh, it was all in good fun man. I no longer hate DP, its a new years resolution not to hate anybody...well except republicans.)

Yeah Armstrong has 7 TdF compared to Merckx's 5...

Ok, I won't argue, I'm not much of a cycling expert (nor tennis or anything else for that matter).

Ha ha that was actually funny, did you actually call Puig Albertito? well he looks quite puzzled, don't think no one ever asked him to get a pic taken with him. Lil' Al is not very friendly, when Spanish TV interviews him during the race, he kinda growls back a short answer and puts the earphones back on.

" I was standing there with a hard on waiting for Nicky to come out " ... I really didn't need to know that lol

I'm sorry for you but I think Nicky is straight, if you want some manly love try door 46, better chance there.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nghiemlong @ Jan 6 2010, 12:49 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Golf and Formula 1 may be more popular than MotoGP, but Rossi for sure would finish first in the popularity contest. Facebook statistics is a good proof.

F1 drivers doesn't have that big muscle, but they are the strongest over long time span. In the race, there isn't a moment for relaxing: acceleration, brake, heart beat always ~200 bpm. MotoGP is the same.
I don't think 1.6 million fans on facebook is that great of a statistic, quite frankly. I think a better indicator of an athlete's popularity would be his earnings. Especially athletes who make the majority of their money through endorsement deals as Rossi, Woods and Schumacher do. Woods made $110 million, can't find Schumi's numbers as of late, but Kimi Raikkonen makes $45 million and Rossi earns $35 million.

And as far as athletics, I think footballers require more physical strength and endurance. Hockey players as well. As far as motorsport athletes, I think MXers are about as fit as it gets.

Dude, it was hilarious. It gave us plenty of milage that weekend too, lots of laughs. I think if he ever sees the fun we had with that picture it will ruin it for anybody else who ever wants a legit picture with him (that is if anybody existed that would want to take an actual fan photo with Albertito.)

I will have you know, that despite Dani's crash that weekend, he actually came out after the race to greet people (granted there were not that many fans) but there was another rider that crashed that weekend too, and he disappeared after the race.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Austin @ Jan 6 2010, 03:50 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I think MXers are about as fit as it gets.

The National Athletic Health Institute in Inglewood, California tested several professional motocross racers in September 1979 as part of a comparative study of the cardio-vascular, muscle endurance, and flexibility fitness of athletes from various disciplines. Athletes from track, American football, pro basketball and soccer were tested, among others. As a group, the motocross riders tested to a higher overall fitness level than any group tested. Motocross racers get their heart rate up to around 180 to 190 beats per minute and hold it there for about 35 minutes. These riders do this twice per day (original article appeared in Cycle magazine in early 1980. A subsequent study by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's Sports Performance Complex in 2002 reconfirmed the result with more recent motocross racers. The intense physical demand of motocross derives from the fact that the racer of the bike must keep complete control of a 200 lb (91 kg) or heavier bike, while also maintaining their top speed throughout the race. This conversation should have ended after Lance came up. He is/was a better athlete on a "fitness" level than all in question. And then the Kenyans and then some soccer player and there you have the most "fit" athletes. But there is more to athletes than fitness. There is strength, speed, hand/eye coordination, and just having over all freakish abilities(skills). Most of the people in question only have one or two of these. So my vote is for Henrick Zetterburg!!! Go Wings!!

And using facebook for anything besides stalking is just plain ......... Don't give me stats based on facebook friends. If thats the case then Austin Kutcher is the most famous man in the world! Using twitter as my source of factual evidence.
