momentum, plomentum. there will be a break of 4 months. speaking of braking, MM broke his leg and took the win in Qatar. whereas JL took his high momentum from his Valencia win to Sepang 1 where he 'met' the new Bridgestones. who knows what they come up with for their farewell season? relax a bit. still cool you're happy cause your dude did well today.

taking a pole and possibly a win or lets just say 2nd in the title chase into the off season will be a boost and give him a psychological edge over JLo firstly and everyone else as well.....Rossi being back to form is great for him and bad for everyone else....
JLo lost all his 'momentum' when he got on the Yamaha and it sucked for him during testing....he is far too much in his own head...and so any set back does a lot of damage to his focus.....
and yes i am happy...
At 35 yrs of age, what he is doing on that bike is unbelievable. He's had to adapt to so many changes over the years and he's still fighting at the top. Class!
It should return to the panel bashing days, oh and run the opo's really wide. Me I love it when they use the other bike to stay on track spesh when its a bit of a gap on bends, Rossi knows how to do that lol.
Precisely. Rossi is running well no doubt. He will not win another championship. No big deal. He'll make it interesting but unless MM has a serious injury, he wins until the next greatest thing comes along. MM is VERY young, he's got another decade in him if he stays healthy.
Everyone likes to bring Rossi's age into discussion as a reason why he will not win another championship, I think this is not the reality.... Being 35 myself, I do not believe his age to be a disadvantage. Obliviously I cannot speak for everyone, but personally I am stronger and in better shape now than I was in my 20's. It's also a fact that Rossi is faster today then when he was younger if you look at previous years lap times (Granted, that the bikes are faster today then a few years ago).
If Rossi does not win another championship I think it will not be due to age, rather his rivals and there bikes are stronger now, then before....

Having competed in high-level sport there is some truth to what you are saying. You CAN be as strong or stronger at 35 - but pure physical strength means VERY little in MGP. Experience certainly counts and at 35 you have acquired a heap of experience. You DO however suffer a slowing of reflexes and a diminishment of pure balls-to-the-wall youthful exuberance. Ultimately it IS more difficult to compete with others 15 years younger, not impossible, but certainly more difficult.

It's pretty evident if you watch his riding the last few seasons - that he's not on the edge the way he was when he was riding against Stoner. He was absolutely wild with the desire to beat Stoner. Now - he's ecstatic to be on the second tier of the podium with Marquez at the top. In Lorenzo's second
season - Rossi made moves that seemed impossible - incredible stuff that made you hold your breath. Haven't seen that kind of riding from him since
Stoner left the game.
