gary

Am i right or am i right though Richo?

Yes we all agree Rossi is the best(personally i think he is the best ever)

BUT

We shouldnt waste the space on this, the Motogp forum, to fill it with something that you can find elsewhere on the internet?

Anyway half of the topics on this forum have something or other to do with 'yer man.

valentiniboppers .... thats how it was put to me, Ron...

most of his fans just like him coz he wins all the time... its just like football or watever ... once a team ( or rider) wins a championship there is a sudden influx of fans ... and its mostly because they deserve it.

rossi's won championships so many times, we're gonna run out of fingers soon ... and his fan base continues to grow more and more as he win more and more championships.

i find that newcomers or ppl that don't know much about the sport ABSOULUTULEY FRICKEN' LOVE ROSSI and NO ONE ELSE and thats what annoys me. They dont have a feel for the sport and don't even really care what the results unless their God has won. There is no harm in supporting other riders!

in a way i kinda feel sorry for the bloke... so much pressure. And even more so this year....

no disrespect to any of his diehard fans or anything ... he is a fukin good rider... im just not particuarly fond of him. and the main reason for that is the valentiniboppers ... and please dont tell me that he is good looking either...

(sorry if this is a bit too forward but i've had a bad day and coincedently a 'valentinibopper' at school tryed to explain to me how a race works ... not a good idea)

Valentinobopper, eh Katt?
<

Don`t feel sorry for him, you know he loves the attention. If he didn`t have it, he probably wouldn`t be as good.
Look on the bright side, at least they`re worshipping someone with real talent and not some half plastic witless hollywood barbie doll.

Personally, I think its a good thing that Rossi has his "Valeboppers" as katt puts it!

In all sports, you are bound to get a huge number of fans who just support the best - Manchester united syndrome eh!

IMO, the more people who watch the race and talk about it the better, even if they just fancy rossi...........more people = more money being put into the sport.

As long as the when they hit the tarmac we get races like Turkey

What are you trying to say Ben? I like ManU, how can't you like Wayne Rooney, Christiano Ronaldo and Tim Howard?

Actually Katt, I meant real teeineboppers.
<
The types that go to concerts for singers who look a lot better than they sound. Would`nt you rather have them screaming "ROSSI!" Instead of "BRITNEY!"

I guess this makes Ooost a "ManUeeniebopper"

that was funnier..

"ManUeeniebopper" ... ??? .... that would make me an "Everteeniebopper".... shame we never win anything...

i totally agree wit that, i have to admit i was drawn to motogp by rossi, but after the first race i watched i started looking at everyone else on that gird, and now i watch to see how just about every single one does, including 125, and 250

i was on the train the other day with a girl from colege and she tried to talk to me about gp, and the only rider she knew about was rossi, how can she talk about it when thats all she knows?!?!

it gets on my nerves it really does lol

its better to have someone to tlk about motogp than no one even if it is a rubbish chat. thats y i joined this forum.

my friends only know about valentino because i wear motorbike t-shirts. but i dont just like valentino, i like many riders like colin edwards, kiyonari in bsb, capirossi, Troy Bayleaves(Bayliss).

though i must admit, i like 2 be the only one of my m8s who likes motorbikes as it is something different, i dnt just wanna be a sheep and follow the rest of the flock, and watch football or cricket or some other sport all the time.

i think there's a lot a good arguments here. you have to admit he brings a lot to the sport. i started watching it and thinking who is that amazing rider then i started enjoying watching the othe riders like sete and melandri and now i just love watching the racing. its just rossi's time to shine. another rider will come along and beat him and in a few years time we will be saying we wished he was still racing.

and katt.. an everton fan? how? why?

i'm with you ooost on this one, united all the way
