Rossi: Ducati want me to test their 2023 bike

The title is a bit misleading. When you read the article it actually says "He told La Gazzetto dello Sport that Ducati now want him to help prepare their 2023 prototype: "A lot of people on the team would like me to try it.". Not really a formal offer.

Mayhaps they do want him to ride the bike: just for purposes of schadenfreud, to make extra clear how entirely inept he was as a developer of bikes.

I thought it interesting to note that he sounds somewhat regretful for jumping ship. "By 2015 they were winning"
