That would have been interesting to see KRSR and Rossi teamed up, Sky would have been the limit. I think KR is too close for The Doctor's comfort level. He has been too busy sticking his finger in their eye(2006 season excepted of course)

Excellent news! So now when the title is won by Hayden, (or anybody else) there will be no more doubt that he took the title rather than "luck". And all the true fans of the sport will praise him for it. (Just like they did this year!)

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (R-46 @ Feb 1 2007, 10:12 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>GO!!!!!!! ROSSI. I hope my prediction comes true that rossi is not a cager. thats what we here call people that drive cars. I had thought that he said he really likes the challenge of two wheels and that cars are not that much of a turn on to race. except he likes rally some cause he can have fun sliding the car around really fast. and being under the gun for fast times. I hope he stays on two wheels long enough to beat agostini's records. heck sete stay'd in gp for like 11 years I think.

So GO!!!!!!! ROSSI.

Capirossi has been for like 18 years now I think… and Barros?

Beat agostini’s records, WOW still a tough one…

1967 - 500cc - AGOSTINI, Giacomo - ITA - MV Agusta
1966 - 500cc - AGOSTINI, Giacomo - ITA - MV Agusta

Total – 15.
500cc – 8 Championships.
From ’68 to ‘72 – Both 350cc + 500cc.

Considering All Classes now Rossi is on top with 84 wins compared to Agostini’s 68 wins. But in 500cc & MotoGP still needs 10 more victories.

Anyway, I am happy that 4 wheels is just a hobby!

Rossi only lost by five points and that includes three DNFs, a potential 75 points lost, and not to mention a few low scoring rounds, so as long as the Yamaha finishes every race and there are no major accidents for any of the riders I think it will be a very different story this year and Hayden will be lucky to finish in the top three.

He won't retire without being champion.

If he wins on the 800 he'll be the only 125, 250, 500, 990 and 800 champion. Not a bad thing to go in the record books.

That isn't a bad thing to have to ur name. Heydan and Pedroser are genna give him a run for his money though, it will be a tough year for everyone.

This is very good news for the fans and the sport in general, but i wonder if this ties in with some kind of spondership deal?????

Check it out: http://www.crash.net/news_view~cid~6~id~142697~pid~0.htm

isnt because ferrari have just signed a new driver for 2 years so there would be no room for rossi anyway... heck of a big coincidence that

Its gonna be very hard this year, but i think rossi learnt the value of each single point in 2006 and will be pushing very heard all year. I must admit i think we could be in for an 05 style rossi performance, but lets wait and see.

P.S. Rossi won't do F1. IF he tries cars it will be WRC, at least then he stands some chance.
