Rossi is ahead of Barbera by 0.092. Is Rossi still among top5 when it comes to qualifying? seems to me Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Stoner and Simoncelli all seem faster on a single lap. Maybe also Spies.

what was wrong with the quali thread?

i'll post it here too. maybe they haven't sorted out the bike on softs just yet..he ran a better lap on hard tires yesterday

On faster bikes of course they're faster. Having said that Rossi's qualifying has been poor this year. I imagine he will zoom past Edwards, Crutchlow and Dovisoso in the race though, dry or wet.

Not while on the Ducati yet. Everyone expects a miracle because of what he did at yamaha but they forget how much more testing there was in those days. I'm hoping we see better results from Spies soon, we all know those Yams should be much closer together. I think it's just this track for him. I'm also looking forward to the next test to see if yamaha can get this guys a little more power.

Yes but ...... this is the Bopper "reality" thread, on what happened in QP, not the real reality

You know ..... the one where everybody hates Rossi, and where he also got pole ......... if it wasn't for the bike, leg, shoulder, electronics, tyres, Uccio, fuel, rules, Stoner getting in his way! ...... etc.etc.etc.

It would seem they are trying to sort the bike out for the races rather than for quali of softs, hence why his best laps are aways done on the harder tyres.

As long as that continues he will never get onto the front row & will struggle to get onto row 2.

It is widely acknoweleged that both Stoner & Rossi prefer the hardest tyres available to them, i think lex has mentioned this before that effectively they are both disadvantaged by the now softer construction tyres rather than the ones being used back in 07 & 08, not sure what they were using i 09??
