I'd highly doubt that these exact speedo's would be available to purchase direct....if you could I'd say they wouldnt be cheap!

Check these out:

Are you after one or just doing research?

"clutch is there, and speedo is there, just in case you forget"

You see how much better it is compared to the F1 LCDs? No fiddly buttons, just one simple screen to look at once going over 200mph.

I`m surprised they indicate speed. Dont they cover up/rip off speedos on proddie racers so theyve only got a tacho?

Remember when tachos were analogue, just the rev counter needle and a tiny water temp guage? I used the love the onboard stuff when you could see hear and see the bike revving. It'd be cool to see the current high tech stuff working and be able to see what info these guys are actually getting during a race.

If you go to most of the lower budget ama teams you'll see they still usethe analog tachs. i never even look at them. thats how i crashed. i looked down at it coming out of a corner, went into a uncontrollable powerslide and high sided right onto my butt. i couldn't sit for like a week.

My guess is they only use the shift lights once and awhile. Last time I saw a pic of the Honda V5 dash, it still had the needle.

Yeah the needle`s far from extinct. I like the look of the kawa sportsbikes that use a LCD line curved around an analog looking tacho face, with no needle. What`s the general opinion on digital speedos? I mean, It seems like just another technological advancement, but I prefer a set of clocks, its quicker to read than a new fangled digital screen.
