I'm so happy that the Suzuki riders are actually producing some good results this year. John Hopkins deserves a break, he got judged to hard too soon and Chris Vermulen seems like a cool guy too.

I looked that the times for todays practice at Assen and yet again John Hopkins is showing more promise that the GSRV is beccoming a truly competetive machine. Hopefully he or Chris might pull a podium finish this year.

Hopper is overdue for a finish on the boxes.....with all the injuries lately...and some really competitive riders, we could be looking at his shot right here in Assen.....

I've would have liked to see him on a Ducati, or Yamaha. I just wouldn't like to see him treat thier bikes like he dose the suzuki.

it seems like hopper has to push the bike harder than it can go to keep up with the top guys and it cant quite handle that yet. good rider though, he has done well

I think the Suzuki can`t handle it. Hopper is definately a prisoner to his machine. That said, it remains to be seen if he can run with the fast guys all race on a decent bike.

When silly season was in full swing last year, rumor had it a Honda ride, Yamaha ride and factory Ducati ride all had Hopper's name on them. He chose Suzuki because he wanted to reap the rewards of all his hard work. Hopefully the GSVR becomes a bit easier for Hopkins to handle so he doesn't have to ride so far over the edge and he can hang on to a podium. He deserves it.

yep i met John last year at the Birmingham bike show,he's a cool guy,and deserves sucess, but we will see tomorrow ?

Looks like Hopper had it dialed in today. Glad to see it and I hope he and Edwards end up on the podium on Sunday.

Not just saying that because they are Americans. I just think both are good guys personally and good guys for the sport.

It's great to see different manufacturers able to run at the front. I really brings a lot more excitement to the races.

I'm really impressed with Hopper..lets see if he can back it up on Saturday.

Yeah, well It`s getting better isn`t it? I think theyre still ironing out the kinks but Hopper is beating his closely ranked Kawa rivals, front row starts are becoming regular, maybe Shitzuki are actually on the way up. Finally
