The ones I DO like:

Pedrosa (Patriotism + hard worker)
Hayden (seems one of the few sincere, most normal guys there)
Elías (Patriotism + I love his agressive style)
Guintoli (I said he would be good + rides with his heart)
Vermeulen (Seems like a normal guy (that's a compliment in this world of prima donas and whiners))
Nakano ( no rational reason, I guess I always liked him)

The rest I'm pretty much neutral.

Fair comment - you're not afraid to voice your opinion. Just wondered why your plus points seem more reasoned that your -us points. Especially:

Rossi (don't like his personality),
Melandri (Alzamora incident),
Biaggi (arrogant),
Hopper (makes fun of Pedrosa)

Have you more to add to your -us points?

I dislike

Casey Stoner (hes too serious for someone his age)
Randy De Puniet (for making traction control look good)
Makoto Tamada (for lack of effort)
Ant West (for proving a sub standard career leads to a motogp factory ride)

The only rider I really dislike is Pedrosa, but not too keen on Hopkins either, not sure why, maybe it's the dayglo teeth.

i always said that, he sits there like an owl on vicodin and they say pedrobot has no personality.

Ant hasn't had a sub-standard career, he's had constant sub-standard machinery.. There's a difference..

You think Rossi has grounds to complain now, just because he's had one year where he hasn't had the VERY best bike/tyres (bar none) ..

Well if you had of given The Doctor the rides Ant had in 250cc, he wouldn't be a seven times world champion right now...

Oh and I dont really dislike any rider.. I think they're all amazingly talented and brave people.. The one quarrel i might have is with Hector Faubel and the way he was so ungracious towards 'Talma' after the Hungarian had won the 125cc finale at Valencia..

sub-standard machinery for sub-standard riders

whatever way you look at it, this is motogp and the factory rides should be reserved for special talents who have won championships.

That can't be too difficult when theres only 8 factory bikes.

I guess quite a few will come on here and if they were to follow your style their 'dislike' list would read:
Pedrosa (The Estoril incident)

That's plain mean but I must admit it made me howl with laughter. Poor Casey. Now he'll grow up and go off the rails. I always say that's the right order in which to live your life.

I don't dislike any of the current grid. I obviously have my favourites but I think it takes something special to be a rider at that level. Sure they all have their quirks. Not even your average tom .... and harry in the street have nothing wrong with them. What do you want from these guys?!?
They've all contributed to my entertainment, to my weekend fun, and to endless hours wasted upon this forum. You should all be grovelling on your knees in gratitude.

My one exception would be Biaggi. He was the roman emperor of whinging. The first time I ever saw him smile was last season in wsb. I almost fell off my chair.

You take the bait so easily mate. Why bother he's just winding you up. Look at his silly comments about Stoner, and the fact that factory rides should only go to people who have won championships. Crock of .... if you ask me.

I'm no fan of Lorenzo! Those Lorenzo land flags just make him out to be way too egotistical ... thank God we won't see any of them planted this year!

Besides that, he can't ride in the wet ...

100% agreed! he's such an egocentric person. when rossi makes those little acts they are usually harmless (the seven dwarfs, the bowling pins etc) but lorenzo has to have those acts that say: I"M THE BEST (rocky, the knight thing, lorenzo's land) I say let the driving do the talking, stop those acts (for both of the riders)

I was really upset when lorenzo won in assen and planted his flag here too

I hope he'll have a different attitude next year

You just wont get over the fact that Randy is fast, he always has been.

I must be in a minority here:

Supported Foggy in WSB as he's from my hometown

Liked Biaggis riding style, and I have a Max Marlbro cap somewhere!

I also liked to see Gibbers win, as on his day he was only one of a few riders who could take it to Rossi......just couldnt hack the psychological stuff.

Well I could list you the events that made me go from actually supporting Rossi in 2004 (pretty brave move to go to Yamaha) to now dislike him.
Laughing at an injured rider (Sete).
Questionable moves (.
Banning teammates that could be a threat.
Threatening DORNA with quitting if he doesn't get Bstones ....

Up to 2004 I thought of him as this cheerful character, with inmense talent and laid back attitude. Now I see him as a tough ............ with a pretty unethical win at all costs attitude disguised in a façade of smiles and laughter.

Melandri: Trying to knock down an opponent on purpose ... no need to further explain.

Biaggi: always had an excuse for why he didn't win, and still when he won, he usually had some complaint on the bike so that he appeared to be one winning despite bike problems.

Hopper: I don't like his disrespectul comments towards other riders, to Suzuki ... kicking his bike ... seems like a total ... to me.

My style? Have you actually seen what Melandri did in 1999? it's nothing to do with a rider falling down and taking out another, cause that what happened at Estoril.

It happens all the time, Pedrosa has been knocked down twice this year and I don't dislike DePuniet and Jaque because of that, it would be silly, it's bound to happen to everyone sooner or later .... maybe you plan to hate everyone?
