I was saddened to hear today that Ollie Bridewell has died following an accident in first free practice for this weekends BSB races at Mallory Park.

this one has really got to me as Ollie was one of my favourite riders, it doesnt seem real, i cant get my head around it, i only spoke to him last sunday and now hes gone, its strange
really gonna miss the Milkybar Kid!

Wasn't there questions over safety at Mallory a while back? I don't remember what part of the track...
 
Very sad.
Cant help but think such an accident could of been avoided if the track conditions were as bad as i ve heard, Tragic. Poor Ollie.

Is Tommy (sp?) still racing this round? It's perfectly understandable, I'm sure that anyone would agree over that.

I'm interested to know where the accident happened at Mallory, I've been there and it always seemed safe apart from the area where they had the HUGE (taller than a person) kerbing.
