MotoGP video game by Milestone

With MotoGP's official video game licensing with Milestone will end after 2026, MotoGP will seek the new future video game developer and publisher for 2027 onwards. EA Sports Codemasters best option I believe.

I'm not aware what each company will bring to the table. Why do you think that EA Sports Codemasters is the best option? (I'm not doubting you - I just want to hear your reasoning.)

EA for quality and handling improvement. Sepang Circuit in Milestone games not same as real life (T1 grandstand too different)

I tried the MotoGP game from a few years ago with Pedro Acosta still in Moto3. Clearly it would take me a lot of time to work out how to 'ride' the bikes. Handling improvement sounds good to me, but I think 99% of my problem was a lack of skill. Not handling issues in the game.

I recently bought motogp20. I have 22 or something but as you said it is almost impossible. It is simulator style handling when all (I think) most people want is more arcade style. MotoGP 20 is the last game to have more arcade like handling and I am enjoying playing it.

I do want to give it a go. I see that the 2024 MotoGP game is being sold relatively cheaply second hand.

What are the good motorcycle racing games these day? I have a PS5 for the shop with a few motorcycle racing games, I know a couple of them are motogp games.

Ride 3 and 4 are fun. They are usually on sale a bit with all the DLC packed in.

I haven't gotten to trying the Isle of Man TT games so not sure how those are yet. I've got 1 & 2 on my PS5 but have yet to actually fire them up.

The MotoGP games are fun for what they are.

I have MotoGP19 for my Switch. I like it. However I could not get on with MGP22. No matter what I try, the braking seems non existent and you brake 6 miles back and still sail past the corner.

Well, that explains my previous post..
