As some of you may be aware, sports prototype racing is experiencing a renaissance now that the premier classes have moved to BoP. Porsche has chosen to unveil its new 963 LMDh model at Goodwood FOS.
BoP isn't really to my liking for autosport, but using BoP to control aerodynamics is something I support, and Porsche have rewarded this masses with a decent looking LMDh car.
We'll see where this goes. I suspect sand-bagging and gamesmanship will inevitably undermine the balance, but maybe the manufacturers have something in place to keep the cars close enough for race strategy and driving talent to make the difference.
