Hi,

Long time reader, first time poster.

Wondering if any of you has been to PI and which grandstand would you recommend? The website recommends turn 6

Have left it to the last minute so panicking a bit!

Turn 6 is Siberia.

It's called that for a reason.

Great place to watch.

But also a great place to get hypothermic. Rug up.

It's also quite a trudge from the entrance gates and the expo centre (if you're interested in that stuff).

Any stand away from the main straight is good.

Thanks for replying. We were lucky to get one of the few tickets left on Siberia. Definitely packing the thermals and polar fleece!

Bring those and something windproof. It can be evil over there.

And then it'll probably be 30+ on the day...

Casey Stoner is going to take the RCV out for a few laps before the race as well as Mick Doohan and Wayne Gardner. Should be epic.

Was anyone out there today?? I know its going to be windy as anything, but how was the grass areas and stuff, is it still muddy from the rain earlier this week or has it dried out? Just trying to be practical, hahaha.
