did you gys catch the pits boards they were giving pedrosa? i cannot believe it.

he was 2 seconds in front of vale and they were telling him .5!! then when he was 4 up, they told him like 1 or something ridiculous! like in germany last year when he was way ahead in the rain and they were telling him the riders were still very close...

i ask why would you do something like that? and nobody saying anything!

just does not make sense...and to all who know of it, i cannot see how anyone would agree to this technique.

i sure am glad puig next year will not have the power he has had in the past years....he has kept pedrosa from bettering himself...he is the cause.

maybe they think its a good way to keep the rider motivated to push hard?

Re you sure they were showing him time to next rider? could have been a time based on a pace lap for him? eg. 1.33 +.5 ?

They've been doing that for a long time. A lot of people were critical of Puig after Pedro chucked it down the road in Germany in 2008. He was a mile ahead and Puig was still telling him to push.

As I recall, Pedrobot was leading the championship at the time. (If not, he was a close 2nd.) The Sachsenring crash cost him 25 points and damaged his hand to the point that he missed the next race. Puig destroyed his entire season that day, costing him any chance of the title. For the life of me, I can't fathom WHY Peddles hasn't ditched The Toxic ...... long ago.

Sure, but at some point you've got to TRUST your rider to manage the race as he sees fit. Puig is pretty obviously a complete control freak and isn't willing to surrender any power to the rider.

Amen to that.

The 2008 season was Dani's to lose, and that he did, no thanks to the Sachsenring crash.

.... Puig. I hope he dies a horrible death. Why the .... would you want someone to push hard an entire race. Learn race craft you dumb ............, I hope Spies and Pedrosa battle it out next year then socks that cholo Puig in his chin.

It just doesn't make any sense....NOBODY does it!

I can understand MAYBE in amateur racing to push someone...in say a motocross race, but at a PRO LEVEL with lots of $$ involved and tons at stake, it is just unbelievable that people would do this.

Cannot wait for next season...the off time sucks!

Pinky, it was my arrival that spread the Pedrobot-love. Just kidding.

I reckon that next year, Puig's dark ways will be significantly lessened, as per his 'reassignment/demotion' within the team. Should be interesting to see how that will affect Dani's performance. It can only help him for the better.

I remember they didnt told melandri his lap times in testing when he was at gresini I think

What kind of post is this? So off-topic.

Now BACK on topic......... who's to say Pedrosa or Honda wasn't the one to tell Puig to make up the numbers once in a while to keep the little runt motivated to keep pushing?? If it bothered Pedrosa that much, he would of told them no need for it.

What kind of demoted role would Puig be having at HRC?? It wasn't like he had a role on the team anyways besides being Pedrosa's manager, the ....... just took it upon himself and acted like he was a big-shot at HRC. I guess they finally had enough of his shenanigans.

just showing they do change laptimes etc sometimes, pedro's crew isnt the only one who does it

Whatever his motives are they didn't seem to be working at Laguna. Didn't Puig do the same thing there too? Rossi was so close at the last turn and almost took the race.

I bet Peddles has reached the point that he doesn't believe anything he sees. If he'd lost Laguna, people would have screamed "You .......!," but the real blame would have fallen on (surprise) Puig.
