Why not good? Maybe it'll teach journalists to stop asking stupid questions. I doubt it, but maybe.

because walking out just makes you look like a sulk, if it was a stupid question he should have said so and asked to move on.

It's not a stupid question. Questions like those lead to delicious sound bytes. Like when he said it would be stupid not to consider other offers. What's the journo supposed to do? 'Well Dani, since the Honda has been disappointing and you've struggled with it we'll steer away from that subject. How are things with Alberto?'

Hahaha, that's pretty good Austin. Journalist can be super idiotic, but you have to learn to beat them at their game. Maybe next time he can have Puig in the pressroom and defer to him any uncomfortable questions. I could see it now: Journalist--'Hey Dani, you were considered the heir apparent, why haven you won this season?' Dani--'Uhm, that's an uncomfortable question and I will have Alberto answer for me.' Puig--'Well the answer is easy, its Hayden's fault, next question.'

yeah not good. he should have told them to go .... themselves. next question.

They really think Dani's a little boy. Idiots.

And that's exactly what I would have done. Only it wouldn't just be walk out.. it would be a whole lot worse..

I think it'd be seriously frustrating to have the press hounding you and waiting for you to say something they can blow out of proportion just because things aren't going well. This would be even more annoying considering it was a subject Dani no doubt has covered many many times recently, so i can understand why he got annoyed. Unfortunately these days PR is a mssive part of being in the sport and he needs to be able to deal with all the draw backs to doing what he loves. Its a great shame but he should have dealt with it better, i don't judge him for it, but i'm sure many (who are just waiting for another reason) will.

I don't blame Pedrosa. I'm not in his position, but I can imagine riders get tired at times cause of the press. For sure it would have been better if he handled it in a different manner, but I certainly don't judge him because he didn't.

You two are more similar than you think

I'm a huge Hayboy fan so I can't believe I'm about to say this but............

I actually feel sorry for Pedrosa. Last season he did great results because of his size, this year he actually rides like a motogp rider. He doesn't fall off late in races and he has learned how to really hang off the bike and slide it when needed.

Honda clearly chose to listen to him when they built the RC212V and it has been disastrous by Honda standards. All the riders complain about it, and Pedrosa hasn't produced the wins Honda wants. To top it all off, Hayden's chassis development was finally implemented and he just smoked Pedrosa.

This year Pedrosa is less of a primadonna and it's clear to me that his tiny stature isn't the only reason he is going well. Yet this year he is getting his ... beat largely b/c Honda made a .... bike and his biggest rival is leading the world championship.

He needs to catch a break, or leave Repsol behind. I'm sure they are working him just as hard as Honda is.

But the BIG question is if he did leave HRC where would he go!!
You can rule out Gresini, Konica and LCR, any suggestions?
He better not go to Ducati or I'll just slit my wrists now!
<

I say let's send him to............................KR

Bottom line is Honda listened to him now he's reaping what he sowed,
I say .... him make him stay at HRC and fix his heap of .....
