Pedrosa, what do you think ?

Those two sentences are mutually exclusive. Pedrosa is as small as a rag doll! I doubt Honda accidentally built the RC212V not to fit normal sized humans like Nicky, but rather decided to design a bike that fits a very small dude like Dani.

Alex Gobert described in the latest AMCN(or was it Mark Bracks?) in great detail how the fuel consumption programming of th RC212V is designed around Dani Pedrosa's riding style...

So are you saying that Hayden rides a bike designed and setup for Pedrosa too!!??

That Honda, the largest motorcycle maker in the world could not field two bikes individually setup?

It makes no sense at all ..... unless its sole purpose is to placate the tears of the emotionally wounded ....

Why would Honda not make a bike that suits a very expensive rider .... especially when the changes needed would cost them in the thousands ( to possibly 10's of thousands) of dollars at manufacture? and the implications are that they could lose money directly in the value of 100's of thousands, and indirectly via marketting in the US in the millions.

I used to think some of this stuff curve spouted was done as a joke ....... but ....... I think he actualy believes it

C'mon dude.....while it may not have been literally "designed" <u>ahead of time</u> FOR Dani, its pretty clear that HRC engineers, when faced with the decision of building a smaller platform or a fairly standard model, said "hey, we have Pedrosa on his way up, and we think he is the future, so lets opt for the smaller bike". Based on this, you CAN say it was "designed for Dani" because his presence and estimated longevity at HRC determined the direction the engineers took.

Yes

I actually semi- seriously agree with the theory advanced I think by mylexicon last year that the design philosophy and perhaps the whole 800cc formula came first and that honda looked for or groomed a rider to suit this; they may have targeted a spaniard in particular to please repsol +/- dorna. I don't think they deliberately tried to screw hayden, but rather that his screwing was a by-product of their philosophy.

I would agree that honda are cold-blooded.
