One year/Season later brings us almost to the end of 2009, and I guess Dovizioso now is concerned about his number. Looking at Pedrosa today he could end up in fourth, and if he still runs with his position number, he’ll wear 4!

Thanks for fishing that out. Dovi deserves to lose his number. He has been my #1 dissappointment. I thought for sure he could run with the front and it doesn't look like that is going to happen. He has a factory Honda and he is still giving the same performances as if he was on the Scott Honda. I hope that he finds some pace or I think the bosses over at HRC may look long and hard a re-signing him.

Mark that one down and fish that out this time next year.

I reckon Dani is going to come back to #26 next season if he doesn't finish 3rd.

did he not just sign a deal for 2010 and 2011?
i am also dissappointed with him but he seems to have landed the "haydenesque test-mule" job at repsol as evidenced by his testing out the ohlins suspension whilst dp keeps on with the showa stuff...

I just remembered there was a thread exactly about this, and Pedrosa will concentrate and try to defend his 3er place, a least that is what a MotoGP Article Title states: “Pedrosa goal to beat Stoner to third”…
