Hayden could easy enough leave estoril as the last 990cc
MOTO GP champion !

If Hayden wins the race and Rossi is unable to finish higher then fifth,
Hayden will have the title with one race to spare.

For only the reason that Rossi is on his tail with a spectecular comeback everybody seem to overlook that Hayden could already win next weekend.

Hayden has horrible history here while Rossi has a great one.
They could prove the history books wrong though.....

If I had to bet everything, it would be on Rossi.

Only time will tell. Really I think its a toss up right now. Hayden has surely got his clutch up to speed and can do well everywhere. He is a much better rider then he was at the begining of last year. If the points were even I would say Rossi has it, but the fact is Hayden has a 12 point lead and really just has to follow Rossi around for about 60 laps. He has proven this year that when the bike is sorted he can run at the front, even when he gets horrible starts he runs lap times comparible to the guys up front. I really think its 50-50 right now and Hayden is going to ride his heart out because he knows this may be his only chance at a championship.

rossi seems to have a way of pulling off the impossable when he needs to. he can start at the back and still win,he can incure a 10 sec penelty and still win by a country mile. if i were a betting man i would put my money on him,but having said that i think nicky is capable of wrapping it up. the pressure is on and where all going to be treated to some great racing.

As I said before Nicky finishing 1st and Rossi not finishing higher than 5th is VERY unrealistic
