Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but as soon as I saw this, I thought fellow MotoGP fans would love it.

Go to http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/disney/tronlegacy/ and check out one of the HD versions of the clip titled VFX concept test.

Man, that is some of the coolest high speed "motorcycle" footage I've seen committed to film.

I guess this clip has been out for a while, but I'm just seeing it now. Forgive me if it's old news around here.

Would have been awesome if they'd had Rossi do a cameo in the movie.

If they were smart, they'd sponsor a bike or two with a custom livery towards the end of the season (closer to when the movie is coming out), but I'm sure the chance of that is zero.

I really wasn't too impressed with that. Some cool CG I guess, but nothing mind blowing. I'll take the Matrix highway chase any day.

It's always nice to see motorcycles posed in a positive light or at least forward thinking and futuristic light. The stylistic interpretation is pretty cool.

I still think the Matrix plug was the greatest motorcycle plug of all time, but artistic impressions are always positive as well. Sports motorcycles don't really have any particular purpose at all. They are very close to art.

Bo-Ring!!!

I guess I'm too old and jaded. I though the CG was nothing more than the usual lazy Hollywood glop; the very thing that keeps me from going to most movies in the first place. OTOH, it didn't give me a headache - I suppose it's better than a Michael Bay crapfest...

I assumed this thread was some kind of Spam to advertise the movie??

Surely the title gives it away

Not a spammer. Sorry if it came off that way. I lurk here a lot and hardly ever post.

Thought the snippet was really cool and made me think of MGP. Figured I'd share it with you guys. Guess folks weren't digging it as much as I was.
