One good reason to hate David Allen Grier

Dont know if anyone posted this yet. Saw David Allen Grier in the Alpinestars hospitality tent after the race. In hand he had Valentino Rossi's leathers and helmet from the race. Guess it pays to be a celebrity.

He would be an Actor/Comedian. He was on In living color and several other sitcoms that have fizzled along the way. Apparently he's quite the Rossi fan.
 
The Astars guys should have told him to hide all that Dainese Rossi gear while he was sitting in their hospitality. Alpinestars for life.
 
According to this, he was there last year as well if you can be bothered to wade through it - it's like one of Jum's posts, minus the humour, the wit, and the entertainment value. Actually, I was fully expecting either Rog or Jum to turn up in it

He didn't have much sense of humour when I passed him walking from the paddock at race end.
I smiled saying "what, no ride with Mamola this year?" he just frowned and said "i already did that".
 
according to The adam carolla podcast he rides an R1 LE, and is huge into Motogp. More power to em for getting rossi's leathers.
 
I first heard about valentino rossi and motogp when David Alan Grier was on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show a few years ago, 2005 I believe. He had just come from the laguna race and showed up at the late night talk show in full leathers. He talked about meeting valentino, getting an autograph, how great he was etc. Jimmy just kept asking who the hell rossi was and why grier was so obsessed with him.

I will forever thank David Alan Grier for that. His role as the police officer in Jumanji was cool too. DAG and Life with Bonnie weren't bad either.
 
What does someone want with another mans sweaty leathers and helmet. Sure he is the great Rossi, but what do you do with them once you got them. Not like Grier is going to fit into them. Perhaps he will put them in a glass case in his house? I just don't get it, but then again I have never been one of those obsessed with owning a "piece" of a star.
