I hav'nt seen the race yet seems like I did'nt miss much.

1. Rossi - Wow, once again showing he has the skill to get the job done.

2. Pedrosa - Was there any doubt in anyone's mind once Rossi got past him that he would fade after 1/2 a lap then then "settle in" and ride out the rest of the race a few seconds behind Rossi and finish 2nd? Yes I am bagging on Dani because he seems to do this all the time.

3. Dovi - Congrats to Dovi, I knew he had it in him to finally get a podium. It was a well deserved 3rd place with a great late in the race battle with Hayden, which as it turns out was about all the excitement then entire race had. Great defensive riding on that last lap by Dovi.

4. Hayden - Solid ride, stayed in touch with Dovi and made the move when he thought it was right. He's is still having issues with running it deep into the corners and losing some time, something he needs to work on.

5. Nakano - Congrats to the hard working Nakano.

did HRC .... over Hayden ? looked like dovi's customer bike was as good as nickys factory bike. im thinking dovi was on a factory bike and no favors were given to nicky.

shame lorenzo crashed, i was hoping he would take more points out of dani's lead. at least it was a low side and he was ok.

not a good day at the office for the new doohan, by all accounts it wasn't his bad left wrist that was the problem but his right hand was over worked

pedro, cant fight his way out of a wet paper bag. once rossi passed him dani settled for second and a lonly second at that, ....... poofta imo.

rossi Domination. not happy with winning the championship he wants to win all the races too. what a greedy boy

Someone in this forum commented recently that Rossi owns Pedro - they're spot on. Vale only has to show him a wheel and he caves in faster than a Lehman's Brothers private equity scheme.

Regarding Rossi domination - awesome, you just run out of superlatives for the guy. I just hope we don't return to the dark days of '02, 03 and '04 when he wasn't in the same race as anyone else, because I really can't see anyone taking it to him next season.

Don't think he is just after wins ...... But there is one important milestone/record he will very likely get after Valencia ....... the most points in any season ..... currently Rossi shares that honour with Stoner ..... and he only needs a 5th place or better to beat it.

that may have been the case a few years ago ......... but then they outstay their welcome ...... well no thats not true really ..... its just that when someone ( ANYONE ) comes along and mixes it up a bit .... its far more interesting.


Edit: Prediction for my next years followage ........ Maybe Dovi. and maybe Hayden ........ If Stoner has lost half his Scaphoid ..... I'm not very sure what to think ...... he'll either push to hard to early and wreck it forever or wait till later in the season and make 2010 his ( possibly with JB and Yam ..... as it must be a secret wish of Jb's to once again spanner for an Aussie

Finaly got to watch all the race and from a racing perspective it was pretty boring but at the same time very exciting to watch the master carve thru those curves, As soon as he passed Dani if it was'nt for Dovi and Nick and the little battle between Casey and Loris it would have been extremely boring

Hey Tom, was it Shinyas race craft that prevented him from dominating on Nicky and Andrea or was he just unlucky that they did'nt tangle each other up so he could dominate like he did in PI?

Mucho Respecto to Dovi, big up yourself on your first podium. It was great watching his and Nickys interview after the race, they really paid each other great respect

Dani, ffs grow a pair. Your never going to learn how to fight unless you try. Puig cant fight all your battles especially the ones that really count

You mean 2005 not 2004 i think 04 and 06 were the best seasons of late!?

I stand corrected - '04 being Vales first year on the M1. I agree - in fact '06 was one of the best in recent memory IMO
 
I'll say one word for Pedrobot: Nice attempt, he tried, but Rossi was half a second faster. He's not a racer, we know, but even if he were no amount of 'fighting spirit' would have changed that on a track like Sepang, against VR46. By the way, let us not forget that VR46 is more experienced than DP02 with the Bridgestones.

Regarding Dovizioso's exploit, well done, I am a fan of Dovi and he is really, really good.
But I would not blame Hayden too much. Hamane was seen in Dovi's garage before the race and these things always mean something. in the present situation Honda surely want Dovi to beat Nicky... Surely Dovi's Honda is getting more factory attention since his contract was signed in Motegi...!

Good point. It really did look like NH was being held back by an invisible hand. But I still wish Nicky would've tried something stupid.
