<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SackWack @ Oct 19 2008, 06:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Wonder what happend to Stoner?

and once again, I am making something out of nothing...yawn

It was said that he was having wrist problems, but his other wrist (Sun will have fun with that), he has been favouring it too much and has basically put too much pressure etc. on it.

They were comparing him to Bayliss for his ride whilst injured capability. He wasn't even winding it on, he got to 309 in FP2 but didn't stretch it out over 300 in the race. He's making sure he gets second place in the championship.

Casey said earlier on this weekend he did not have a suitable tyre in his allocation. His tyre last year was faster than everyone's this year. Elias said the same thing. No tyre working properly.
Although Toni had a ride through penalty and still beat Marco. That's just shocking.
<

Gratz to Vale on another dominant win and thank you for making sure Pedro didn't win.
<

I will stop hoping for that if he sacks his manager.
Well done to Dovi on his first podium although I was cheering like hell for Nicky to get past.
Great ride fron Nakano as well

On another note they really need to move the date of this GP. It's just too bloody hot in October.
I thought Simoncelli was gonna croak it after the race.
<

He wins his first title and can't even do his interview afterwards from heat exhaustion.

Bring on Valencia - Tests I mean.

I got no excuse for him - so how about this, "GET ......", you knobjockey.

4. Nicky Hayden - You were seriously out classed today by Dovi!!
<

5. Shinya Nakano - Token Japanese.
6. Casey Stoner - At least you are still second overall.
7. Loris Capirossi - Top Suker.
8. Colin Edwards - Even I am wondering now if you should not give your ride to Spies.
9. Chris Vermeulen -
<

10. Randy de Puniet - Scary stuff from you dude!
11. John Hopkins -
<

12. Anthony West - All you have to do is gain some 5 more points and you will be Top Kwak!
13. Sylvain Guintoli - BSB welcomes you..
14. Alex de Angelis -
<

15. Toni Elias - Once more Toni....Right Brake and Left Clutch!

LAUGHED MY ARSE OFF AT THIS

That said, Shinya did beat Stoner. Kudos to him, apparently Casey was in significant pain earlier in the day with the wrist problems, but I am just making excuses because Casey has won a couple of races this year and should have done better.

It's funny that SS56 is dancing around like he's just had his first root or something because he "nailed" Casey to get to 5th place, which is where he was last week as well when Casey came first.

Same incapacity to recover from your own wrong judgements, learn, and become a little more knowledgeable of this sport. Same childish pride

After a terrible performance at Sepang, I really am having doubts about Nicky.
5kph advantage on Dovi and he still couldn't pass to claim the podium? That is REDICULOUS!
Don't make me hate you Nicky. Shape up and beat Dovi at Valencia!

Nice job Shinya (FWIW, he is on a factory SPRING VALVE). I really hope Nakano get that Kwak and makes it sing.

Humm, I got the impression that he got the pnumatic one this weekend.

Nope...only Nicky and Dani have the Pnuematic engine....Shynia has the 2008 spring valve engine, and Dovi is still running the 2007 engine...

Four (4) Hondas behind the solitary Yamaha of Valentino Rossi.
<

Almost got it Right! Rossi, Rossi, Rossi!

I did not think Rossi would let Pedrosa or Honda win… Anyway, in the Constructors Championship, Honda (295) just got at 1 point from Ducati (296) for the Runner Up… Now Valencia, Pedrosa's (3th) Home track is on…
<

I also think that if Satellite JiR Team Scott (161 points, One rider, 2007 bike) had two Dovisiosos, they would be fighting for the Teams Runner Up spot with the Repsols'…
<

Records:

Rossi now with 150 Career Podiums! Another of Agostini’s…

357 Season Points is just 10 short of his own 367 Record… Bring on Valencia, he just needs 5th place (but will try to win although 2/8 is not that great) to crack his own Record!

Sorry but that's just plain ignorant. Top speed on the straightaway is only one of many
factors. Look at how many races Vale won this season despite Stoner's top speed advantage.
Nicky and Dovi had good close racing, and in the end they were less than a second
apart. Clearly, your understanding of racing is very superficial. That both of them did so
well on Michelins is totally amazing. Who on this forum is such hot .... that they can
sneer at 4th place?

Enlighten me .........! Did you monitor their splits? Nicky has a better bike all around. He should have won.

clarkjw... same post on two threads, same insult on two threads - are the shelves not getting stocked in the creative thought department?
