i hate BBC coverage of Moto GP but i'm pleased to see they're actually bringing our sport to the masses if nothing else

at last my licence fee is actually going to something I would watch

i'm sure his 1958 model kangaroo hide leathers with titanium impact shields at the corners and kevlar reinforced arse + state of the art carbon fibre helmet will save him from any harm tho

I'm looking forward to watching the Northwest. It's no TT but its still exciting stuff, i might head to Scarborough tomorrow to get in the mood for the road racing season ahead

Didn't make it to Olivers mount, but did spend some time on that BBC NW200 website to re-watch last years races, some good stuff. Can't wait for this years, it'll get me right in the mood for the TT.

I would also mention that the BBC's comprehensive red button coverage of this event is so far superb, and the fact that Cox and Parish are currently in the depths of rural France and thus unable to mar my enjoyment of todays racing is an added bonus.
