The 2016 North West 200 starts on Tuesday, anyone else looking forward to the first international road race of the year? Anyone going? How do you see the races going?

An interesting shake up this year with Hutchy joined by Ryan Farquhar at Tyco BMW, MD is on a Buildbase bike, Cameron Donald joined forces with his old boss Wilson Craig, William Dunlop is on a CD Racing Yamaha R6 and an MSS Colchester Kawasaki, the vastly improving Peter Hickman has switched from BMW to Kawasaki however it's as you were for McGuinness, Cummins, Anstey and Hillier who all remain with their long time teams. Should be a cracking meeting.:D

Me too, it's a break from the usual ........ you get in other series, none of that "tyres built to suit so and so" because they can use whatever tyre they want, they race road bikes which anyone can buy and convert to racers which is why you see epic battles for race wins and on top of that they all shake hands at the end of it.

Seeley goes very well round there, I think he will be hard to beat. Although MD looks very up for it!!

Yeah Seeley is generally the man around there. Rutter broke the Superstock lap record.

Does anyone know where to find how the prize money is distributed? You can easily find prize money listings for the TT, Ulster, S100, Cookstown, Armoy, Tandragee etc. but never for the NW200. :/

Oh ...., Hoping he makes a full recovery.

Remember, he quit for a few years because he saw the effect the death of his brother in law or cousin had on his family.

Gutted for Ryan, looked like he'd got a great opportunity getting the vacant BMW ride for TAS and it now looks like he's out for the foreseeable future, hope he makes a full recovery.

Yeah it was his uncle Trevor Ferguson I believe.

He's a top bloke.

He is only top Irish rider to consistently come to my local road circuit at Oliver's mount every year. He loves his bike racing

Shocking news today, racing cancelled following an incident during race 4 when 20 year old Malachi Mitchell-Thomas was killed, he was tipped for very big things in road racing following a wins at Mid-Antrim and Cookstown last month. RIP
