No more MotoGP at Silverstone

My thoughts exactly, however the Donington thing in F1 was a bunch of dicks thinking they could run a F1 event with no hope and a card played by Bernie to get Silverstone up to scratch as it was pretty run down, and it worked silverstone is as up to date as most European circuits.
What would be the reason for this one,

Money, its always money. The non existent track promised to pay Bernie, i mean Carmelo his exorbitant fee to host a GP. Ezpeleta is a whore with zero loyalty to anyone. He will climb in bed with the highest bidder, even if the bidder doesnt officially exist.

Hmm, yeah should really have seen that coming haha.

Least he will look like a bell end when it all falls through then, if it turns out they do need government funding then it is dead before it hits the ground in the UK.

First they sell UK TV rights to BT Sport, which limits the audience/exposure and now they are talking about moving the UK round somewhere with zero racing history, that I imagine won't attract as many spectators as the current setup.

Are they purposely trying to kill MotoGP in the UK.

All tracks had zero racing history at some point.

There seems to be a lot of doubt surrounding the viability of this track. I hope COW will be a profitable venture long term. They have the right idea of building a facility not just a track, but it seems to me that more venues are struggling to retain major events given the exorbitant fees charged by Dorna and Formula 1. Whats a weekend pass going to cost in 2016? £140-£160?

The deal is for 5 years, starting next year which makes no sense considering the track won't be complete. An extension of 5 more years is on offer if Dorna decides to continue i.e. we have reached a deal with Silverstone for more money go .... yourselves COW.

If it happens it will be cool to see another new facility, but Silverstone is such a great track and it actually exists, which is a bonus.

A COW for Crows

Well its confirmed no silverstone In 2015. Seems the cow promoters and dorna have agreed to have the race at donington park. Do get some good views at donington but last time i went there in 09 the facilitys were pretty horrific. Cow probably still wont happen if they need government money so another time dorna ..... the british fans with no lube.
