Good news if they get a good rider and support. Bad news if they do it as grid fillers (look at Kawasaki for reference).

As a kawasaki fan I am deeply offended and demand an apology! meh, who am I kidding...you're right

Looks like they are going with Ducati, not a bad choice as I'm sure they want to expand sales in N. America. There sure were a lot of potential buyers sitting around me at the south grandstands at Miller during the WSBK weekend, I was surrounded by red. Ducati is the "cool" bike for the "cool" kids.

Sorry. Laconi is a good rider. He was in title contention a few year back if you recall. But its hard not to notice a green bike never on the podium. Not to mention Tamada was a MotoGP rider and has struggled real bad. At the moment, its the best looking Jap bike in my opinion (well at least the 600s are, not the 1000s, looks like a cross-eyed bug to me). But the Kawasaki for what ever reason just doesn't cut it in WSBK (nor MotoGP for that matter). I'm a big Hayden Clan fan, so I cheered for Tommy Hayden's two Kawasaki championships and of course for Roger Lee taking his Kawa to the title. But outside of the AMA Supersport (arguably the most competitive class in the AMA, certainly the funnest to watch) unfortunately, Kawasaki is rather absent from the podium.

I suppose Kawasaki is hoping another Scott Russell is in the wing ready to take their green machine to a much needed world title.

Would have been nice to meet up. I was at the Duckhead camping area and saw some races from The Attitudes.

A friend was telling me about this. They are just down the street from me. http://www.bouldermotorsports.com/

Form what I've been told, some big wig doctor owns it. I still can't see anything to come of it. They would have to pull in a big sponsor to get it going. Otherwise I bet we will only see them at the starting line at afew races (mainly Utah).

But if you look at their website they are a US team based in Italy. So right there gives them some footing on most of the schedule.
