Hi Bryan, welcome to the forum. I guess you´re another Nicky fan?

The Tomcat name is self explanatory after reading the "huge airplane fanatic" part of your post.

Welcome to our humble home, kick off your slippers, pull up a chair and grab a drink

Really good stuff Marbs, what kind of powerplants do you use?

Jesus mate - thats a serious piece of kit!! How long do they take to build?

KC-10 is powered by 2 props in the engine nacels, The guy how bought off me flew it again just last week with turbine in the tail (miniture jet engine)

The jet types you see there are powered by Ducted fan motors, so they look like proper jets in the air but sound like a 125 on steroids 22,000 RPM

Takes a while to build any where from 3 to 12 months

Heres a couple more

Great stuff Marbs. I used to take aviation courses at my high school as I was studying to be a pilot and as pasrt of our training we had to build flying wing RC planes, so I know that 22,000 RPM 125 on steroids sound. It's a beatiful thing. You really need a big F-14 RC with big motors in it. I would be impressed.

Nice stuff,Marbs!!!

The modern stuff hasn`t much `character too me.I love the piston engine stuff like the Thunderbolt,Typhoon tankbusters,Black Widow etc+the early jets like Heinkel,Messerschmidt and the N.A Sabre appeal to me for their innovation. We have a good museum here at Baginton,Coventry where there is a Vulcan me dad actually helped build when he was younger,I sat in the cockpit coupla years ago-absoloutley fascinated by it.
