picking up a new (old) bike tuesday. 1992 fzr1000.



shes in real good nick for a 20 year old machine, only a couple of small marks on the body and it goes like a .... off a polished shovel.



I love these old superbikes! Im stoked to be getting one finally!

I had the Genesis FZR750 in garish dayglow orange marlboro colours. Spaceship square, I wish I still had it.



They kept these going as sort of a tourer called a thunder-ace??? or something, they are/were a very capable bike.

Love Marlborough colours, although they are somewhat politically incorrect now. You would have to repaint it with a gangrene foot on the side of it now days. .. plain packaging and all haha

Yeah the thunderace was the R1's dad, I rode one of them a few years ago, but it didn't half the character that the fzr has.
