Quote from Setanta's website...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Setanta Sports Customers from England, Wales or Scotland please be advised that it is with great regret that Setanta Sports GB is no longer trading. Setanta Sports is still operating in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and Africa.

That doesn't seem very fair to me, how come everyone else gets to keep it and not us! Living in the UK stinks!

Never seen any footage the race but found this cracking vid

<object width="425" height="350<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/whdWEkXBup0</param><param name="wmode" value="transparent</param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/whdWEkXBup0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350</embed></object>

The second part of the vid reminds me of my daily commute for 4 years in the late 90s/early 00s... except my second rise/dip had a much sharper drop-off with a surprisingly forgiving run-out.

My daily commute took me from a rural village 60 clicks to downtown Toronto... the first 20 kms a hilly, twisty, Canadian Shield joy - the last 40 a high-speed super-highway (obviously the reverse home).

The drop/rise made for my final shucking of work-related stress and after years of practice I could explode a 20' (six meter) jump with the front wheel at about 60 degrees and land on the back wheel and ride the wheelie for about another 40'. Ideal "ramp-speed" was about 100 (160kms) - any faster and I'd have flat-bottomed landing issues!!

Hmmm, I miss familiar roads... I used to get at least 10' (3 meters) of air in my 626 turbo on the same stretch of road... good times... good memories...

I was standing behind the hedge to the right of the shot. When the superbikes came over that crest the front wheels were being wrestled to the ground every lap. Roll on 2010!
