Anyone catch this. Was on yesterday, and is one right now. Not much racing, with only a Supercross/Motocross (MotoX) style race, and a Supermoto. Other events were the Step up (high jump butwith bikes), free style, and othe trick based events.

With the AMA guys in Detroit, none of them are racing, but you have Ricky Carmichael and Travis Pastrana racing in the MotoX race.

Hope this works outside the US.

Didn't look like the event drew a big crowd. I'm not a fan of the parking lot supermoto tracks the AMA series sometimes runs. In addition to looking shoddy and bush league, the pavement section looks difficult to pass on as well.

Carmichael was impressive on the "step up." Gotta love that factory horsepower!

It seemed like it was put on last minute. A buddy who was there said the weather was hot, that most hide under the awning up and away from the camera.

agreed,

might be just be but it looks slower than the european tracks,

the FIM do a far better job than the AMA
 
AMA cannot find stability in the Supermoto class, yet being a rider favorite to all road racers and motocrossers.
