Your Mom's House
I know this thread won't get much action, but I've noticed a push to break into the American motocross scene. Canceling the des Nations won't help international MX interest, but MXGP has now run a few races in the US. Ryan Villaputo was a major disappointment during his stint in MXGP. Other than that, the few times top Americans like Copper Webb have ran in this series they've done ok, with a few wins. I'm not convinced American riders have taken it seriously. I was disappointed with Eli Tomac's attitude towards it, being something of the top American now that Ryan Dungey has retired. Tomac won the first moto at the recent Jacksonville MXGP event then seemed to lose interest in winning the overall. Tomac also refuses to compete in the des Nations at Winchester, England, which was disappointing.
Also, despite not being a fan, I'd like to acknowledge respect to Chad Reed for showing up to MXGP with a Nicky tribute hat. I'm still quite amazed at how many sports figures have paid tribute to 69 all across the spectrum. So big ups to you Reed.
