At least 60% of us have it and yes it's worth it. I've watched it side-by-side with coverage on Speed Channel and the amount of time they spend with local experts who spew obvious pablum aimed at brain-dead people who've never seen a race - combined with the amount of time lost on ...... commercials for Geico and lite beer is phenomenal. You miss about 35% of the race and you don't see the post race interviews. Plus there's a zillion classic races available to watch going back several decades.

Don't know about saving the races to your hard-drive.

Yeah ive been thinking of getting it for years. Maybe i should get it next time they have an offer on it. Like mid season offer or something. Since 2008 or something when motogp only became available on payable channels, ive been watching it on some ...... bt sport SD streams and downloaded the races afterwards on 1080. But i would rather watch every race online with the pass in HD. And yeah. The biggest reason im considering getting it is so i can watch all previous seasons.

It's a no brainer even if you have TV access. You get the races but you also get the practice and qualifying sessions along with unlimited access to all video's including old races.

Since I reside in an area where Speed Channel no longer exists and FoxSN carries little other than NASCAR and all of its variations (look there go the riding lawn mowers!) it is really a no brainer.

As I don't have cable tv of any kind (have Netflix and Amazon prime) fa a no brained or me as well. And frankly, I feel it's a good value for money. MotoGP races start at 07:00 here, so I watch Moto 2 and 3 later In the day.

Same here, dumped 160 a month Dish bill, negotiated a 40 buck a month payment with them on a 70 dollar basic package, picked up a Roku and had a PS3, got Netflix and Amazon for around 10 bucks apiece and saved 100 a month. Already had Video pass but now thats all i watch since BeIn is not on basic dish package. Now, i need someone to instruct me on how to play whats on my desktop to a TV, or buy a bigger monitor

I started with the vid pass about four years ago.
And cannot really fault it except for one little thing.
I cannot watch live feed on my smart tv, Every other feature on the vid pass works through it fine except live feed, fcuking annoying as I like to have feed on the screen and live timing on the laptop, but to watch live I have to,
@ Povol. Hook the laptop up to the tv with a HDMI cable. However then I cannot have live timing at the same time,
Hang on! Two things, I also hate how the quality drops through the floor and fluctuates so dramatically during races. You start in the 2010's and are suddenly thrown back to 1980's quality.
Come on guys thinking about it the live feed ain't that brill really.
Shout out we all know Dorna have their spies here, tell em what we really think :ninja:;)

The videos aren't officially available for download, but there are ways to do it. Using Firefox with a browser plugin like "DownloadThemAll" will work. You can also use video capturing software like Fraps to record whatever is playing on your desktop.

Chrome Cast or Apple TV will do the job nicely. Both about the same thing.

Tried that and it kinda does suck. Especially as it's hard to line up the screens and shows tool bar icons on the flat screen. Chrome Cast - way to go.

I will definitely get the standard video pass for 2017. Dont need the multiscreen. I will only get it this year if the have like a mid season sale or something on it like they have had before.

Yeah i will try that once i sign up. Ive some video capturing softwares ive been using for youtube and they work great! :aikido:

feel lucky here in the UK, every practice qual warm up and race live & qualsand races repeated later in the day no adverts in any of the live sessions (think they do on repeats) plus now and again they show Classic race's!
I used to get the video pass up till 2014 and I miss the extra video's they put on & press conf but streaming a 720p stream of the sessions doesn't compare to 1080i broadcast's.

I get its far better than what you US guys get coverage wise, and the old archive is cool.

How many of you guys in US would still buy Video-Pass if you had "proper" coverage on TV that was either FTA or very cheap ad-on? Just curious!

If not watching live Kodi has pretty good plug-in for MotoGP, also plenty of torrent sites have MotoGP good for delayed watching!

But u still have to pay for bt sport right?? Cuz in sweden you have to pay for viasat motor. It aint free anymore like it used to be when eurosport had 500cc/motogp..

I got it because Sky TV here in New Zealand dropped the GP's at short notice a couple of years back and it was the only way i could see the races,it's good to see all the press conferences and all the practice sessions as well, sometimes i have to turn the commentary off during the races because that .... Nick Harris and the other guy whose name i can't remember do my ....... head in wanking off about Rossi all the time, and Harris is .... anyway cos he makes loads of mistakes and ruins it.

I got it after 2010 season. At the time the bbc and eurosport both showed coverage but only fp2 quallie and races and I wanted it all.
When it moved to BT sport it was a no brainer to keep it as I will never give BT a penny as long as I live, Nothing but robbing .......s .... BT, Vid pass for me.

Oh yeah BTSport is not free, think I mentioned this in another thread tho.... I have cable TV but I don't pay the cable company, there are "other ways" so it costs me £70 a year, and I get full cable package not just BTSport so thats best value I can find, all runs direct on my PC and records to HDD, easy cheapy peasy! If your not adverse to a bit of piracy anyway!

considering it cost .27 cents a day or some .... like that, why would you not have it if you are a fan. I can find that in my recliner every day after my post dinner nap. The one thing that scalds my nuts is them saying they have off season testing and it is beyond being a joke. They recruit a couple of guys off popular GP boards who are looking for their 15 minutes to do commentary of what they dont show you, which is any action on track.

Yeah, that's dead right,i've logged in and searched for the testing they've previously said they will cover and there's been .... all which pisses me off immensely, that said i've subscribed for a few years now, i just wish they'd get some decent commentators, one guy talks about .... all but tyres and winglets constantly, and Harris and the other dude are just a pair of yellow tinged wankers,i swear if Rossi got his .... out at the next press conference they'd be tripping over each other to give him a gobble.
