Wow, what a fantastic last 2 laps, I dont think rossi did anything wrong, I can understand Seti being pissed off, who would have thought Rossi could pull it off. Makes a great start to what is going to be an amazing season

There really was nothing dirty about it, simply an incredibly aggressive pass. The only possible bad news for Rossi is that Sete is Spanish, so are the powers that be in MotoGP. The last time someone put an aggressive move on Gibernau (Tamada, Motegi 2003) he got DQ'd. But would MotoGP really do that to their golden son? Doubtful. On a personal note, had Nicky not crashed I'm looking at a perfect podium prediction. If only he could improve on his 3 finishes in his last 7 starts number...
Sorry but in my humble opinion rossi tried to take a line that was not there and he should be disqualified,yes i know about racer's touching but that move could have turned out a lot worse, and they would have thrown the book at him,rossi knew on that last corner over the start finish line straight, that he would not have got the drive to the line cos that bike is not as quick as the honda out of the turn's,and gibenau would have stole it on the line,cheap trick's dont become him and what was the bit where he was sticking his leg out ??golden boy or not if i had have been gibber's i would have decked him[did you here the crowd when he was on the podium booing him,reality check not everyone likes you rossi

Wow!!! Those last 4 laps was simply stunning...and the best thing is now is that there will be more of a rivalry between Rossi & Sete!!
I was getting a bit worried that it was a bit of a procession for places 1 & 2....it was a really tatical race till it EXPLODED on those last laps! It was really edge of the seat stuff, real motorsport racing at its best! The fact that Rossi made a few errors, then pulled it back was superb riding. I did think Sete could have attacked more...he needs more aggression in my opinion.
As far that last maneuver.....well, Rossi was a cheeky little thing but I put this down as a racing incident and believe it was legit.
I missed the podium cause bloody BBC decided it wasnt worth showing

Sete & Rossi playing...who can stare each other out was a classic!
Shame about Hyden...was looking good.

i'am a girl and i no tht u mite not think i no anything bout motogp but i no an awful lot. I'am rossi biggest fan. there is one thing i no bout the race on sunday at jerez there is nothing in the rule book sayin tht tht wasin aloud,and there was a perfect line there cause if rossi had taken tht line it means there most of been i line there to take, and i really i'am sorry to all gibernau fans but he is horrible i h8 him. i really don't mean to upset anyone.

Rossi lady, I don't think anyone here will question the fact that Rossi is the most talented rider in the series and questionably of all time. However, just because he is 6 time World Champion Valentino Rossi does not excuse him from any and all mistakes. I'm not saying it was a cheap shot or anything, but it was a bit aggressive. In my opinion, he should have found a better way 'round than that "line". This win would have been a hell of a lot more respectable to the rest of the world had he not pushed Sete into the kitty litter.

if John Reynold's can ride with a leg that has been broken in 3 places only a month ago,let's see if he give's it a go ?

Yes he will be excused for it, he is Dorna's PR machine,and what they fear if they upset him that he may decide to leave,he would never take the popularity with him the sport has at the moment,but would probably take a big mouthful,but when he ....'s up official's should not be shy to come down on him !but it will probably not happen.But imagine an other senario, Gibenau had of been injured for real,say a highside they would of had to act !

hey rossi rules 46 ha ha ha im really laughing my backside off, ur really a big rossi fan aint u ha ha sete is a good rider who pushing vale hard so i say let the race hard and lets enjoy cus would it b good if vale won every race by 10 secs?
