ben, do you get help (like from other members of the forum) sorting out the ranking list after every race??

I just realized that it would be so much work to see who scored how many points for everybody in the game, so if no one is helping you and if you want, I could help you

I guess it's automatic, a computer program calculates the scores.

I hope so but why would it take 'so long' to get the scores online, if it is automatically calculated

Ben said he wouldn't inmediatly update the scores because the results might be changed post race, (penalties for cheating, dangerous manouvers, overtaking under yellow flags etc...)

yes I have scored points today: melandri 1 with michelin tires, stoner (lcr) 2nd and rossi (yamaha) 4th
but you know what they say about luck, you enforce it

you've won some points too teo, but I think that we both won't win the cap and that we never will be able to send photo's of it

It's not likely, but I'm aiming for a top 10 result.

Its done manually, the program isnt that sophiscated I'm afraid!

It normally takes me an hour or so, I print all the results off from motogp and enter them into a spread sheet - then work out the scores etc. I then double check everything, so ensure no errors, then I close the forum and do a full database & file back-up incase the update goes .... up. I then enter the results.

So there you go!

I'll be updating the league in the morning, been busy today.

And why aren't there any decimals? For example I got

Changes can be made now mate....I'll check the code re:decimal places

Re: Decimals places, these are rounded by the script, so Teo you actually have 5.6 mill, buts its rounded to 6mill.

I can look into the possiblity of teh rankings showing 1 or 2 decimal places....what does everyone think?

Three races into the season and I've lost all hope. Why did I buy into the preseason Dunlop hype?

You can blame Mladin for that.

Why did I buy into the pre-season Sete hype??

Because Sete will come around. Just revamped my team, Hopper on the out, Elias moved to no. 2 rider for Stoner. Tech 3 Yamaha also on the out and replaced by LCR Honda. Now HOPEFULLY Stoner will stay up in China and get me some valuable points so I can drop Suzuki powerplants and upgrade to a top 3 manufacturer or team.
