Err I think Olivier Jaque (2000 250cc champion) was a pretty good rider.

And if the top brass in Kawasaki got their heads outs of their xxxxxx they would realize that if they wanted a good French rider they should have signed Guintoli!!

edited: thanks for the tip Wes.

I'll come out and say I still believe de Puniet has OJ's ride. BRING BACK OJ!

If ever the truth was spoken there it is!

I've never done one of these fantasy team things before so I thought I'd be really clever and make a few changes as my team was completely SSHHIIITTTT! But I screwed up and substituted wrongly all over the shop and now I ain't got no rider, yeah I know............! so team give up hereby officially gives up. better luck next year.

How good am I, my team cost exactly $120m.

First rider:
Casey Stoner
Second rider:
Randy De Puniet
Team:
Honda LCR
Engine:
Ducati
Tyre:
Michelin.

Come on Stoner, bring home the money!

That's a real solid lineup. Randy de Puniet is going to be a very solid rider once he finishes a race. I don't think he'll set the world on fire as Pedrosa and Stoner have but he should finish in the points every race and take a couple top 10s here and there. Stoner is a solid pick. LCR is a great team for being short on cash and Ducati and Michelin are just great picks. Best of luck.

Thanks

Stoner is in my opinion going to do great this year, and will challenge for the title with Hayden and Pedrosa next season (assuming Rossi goes to Ferrari). Randy De Puniet isn't at full fitness yet, but when he will be, I predict him in the top ten consistently. LCR seemed like a relatively safe bet, even though I don't know who their second rider is. Ducati is a really obvious one, I love them and they're going really well. I prefer Bridgestone personally, but sheer weight of numbers is on Michelin's side.

Wes you've got a solid base going. Like I said before Stoner is a solid choice and should be consistent throughout the year. If Ellison and Dunlop can find their preseason form then he should be a good second rider to finish around 10th to get some decent points. If they can't solve in the next few rounds I think you need to cut your losses and find a rider on a more solid setup. d'Antin just for lack of money I assume, Ducati is going to be very strong all year and it really helps that they have d'Antin oboard so on the odd ocassion when Hofmann bags a few points it will help Ducatis effort. And Michelin is the best there is.
