An interesting location. Almaty is supposed to be a pretty great city, but not too crowded w less than 2 million residents, and folks there a eager to connect to western culture.
I hear the borscht is great! The eyeball soup, not so much.

Money being chased. I don't want to see a calendar like F1 with more tracks in places like Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan etc. It will only be at the expense of classic tracks. We've already lost crackers like Brno, because they can't afford to resurface their circuit.
