Oh yeah I always forget about my screen name... I guess it's a bit misleading. Sure lots of top riders have complaints, it's pretty much become a part of the sport, complain enough and hope that something gets changed to appease the complaint being made. Quite frankly I'm so used to hearing complaints and excuses that they barely bother me anymore. But I have a special dislike for the tone Jorges remarks are said with, they come off with such an arrogant venom. At least that's the way I often see it.
I am somewhat of a bandwagon Jorge fan, but got on the bandwagon because I wanted him to beat MM not VR, because he is the guy who was good enough to beat my previous guy, and because I admired his grit in his two previous title defenses, particularly in riding 2 days after fracturing his clavicle and having it plated.
The post race interviews are of little or no interest to me and now I think of it I haven't watched them for years. I am told by yam fan who has read Jorge's biography that what he says post-race is scripted and he sticks to the script rigorously, believing he was misinterpreted particularly in English in his early years. Valentino is really smart and genuinely witty, even in English, but that is not what I personally pay the money to subscribe to MotoGP.com or Foxtel for.
