The very inception of the 800cc formula. For the large part, dreadful, tedious monorail processional 'racing' aside it was supposedly justified by the fact that the 990s were too powerful, but as King Kenny predicted, by the end of winter testing the 800cc bikes were lapping faster due to their superior corner speed. And where do 99% of the accidents happen?
