Interesting where Pirro finished in FP2.  I guess he's ridden a lot of laps at Jerez on the lab bike?

Woah, looks kinda close, might actually be a race!

How does everyone rate Pirro as a rider, would you rate him better than say a Dovi, or Hayden, or is he equal?  I'm only asking because if you rate him a little lower than the factory boys, it begs the question, how would the factory boys have done on the lab bike?

I guess you can't read too much into that either though, as far as I know Pirro has spent a lot of time lapping Jerez, his base settings would have been pretty close to dialed today.

I agree but after all those years nicky should have a base setting by now.

Yea, it's weird, Nicky actually went slower in FP2....maybe he got a tow in FP1 to run the 1.40.722????  He of all Ducati riders should have a baseline at Jerez.

Good to see CrazyJoe up there.

I may be wrong (i usually am) but i heard Smith was paying for his ride.

I am not sure that is the case at all. But I could be wrong ( I usually am )

Cal is fast. Needs more racecraft and he could be there.

Agreed when they showed the top 3 in each sector Cal was in every one, last year he spent most of the race trying to get passed Danny for third and finished 2 seconds of the winner Casey so he will be a threat this week no question.

thanks geo!

i always rated pirro as a not too bad rider, that fireblade ftr surely was .... last year and if memory serves me right he was better than my beloved colin edwards
