The transformation they go through as riders from this age to MotoGP is significant. I read a quote on twitter the other day about how you forget GP motorcycle racing is really a kids sport.

Think of how much Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Bautista, Dovi etc. changed compared to when they were dicing it out in 125 and 250. It seems like just yesterday when Baustista managed to backflip his bike doing a celebratory wheelie for 3rd place on the slow down lap...

Even Marquez looks all grown up all of the sudden with his calm and collected riding, although we'll see what happens when one of the veterans puts the pressure on.

The transformation to 500s was mega,i remember when Rossi moved up,he got the Doohan look very quickly, sunken dark eyes, hollow cheeks and a distant vacant stare, getting on a 500 with no electronics that was doing its best to kill you every lap must have been a massive wake up call.

Had to after you commented.

I have tears rolling from my eyes!

Was that Kropo asking the question!

Fuggin hats off to him ;)

Haven't seen the conference but I have read the transcript and your article on Motomatters.

Top work, Krop, on both counts. (disgusting word)
