I have been away bro, cusswords are out there, but they are avoidable!

Hey, don't take it as a telling off, you made me laugh, and those kind of trolls are the reason I left here in the first place. But, you know, the 'C' word is a bit much when my 12 year old stepson reads this. JMO

Don't mind Keshav...... he's just jealous cuz I speak my mind while he hides away peeking through the curtains afraid to be politically incorrect.

And as far as Alvaro Bautista goes I've never said anything bad about him. Just said it might be a career ender for him seeing how he was never really a champion in 250cc and looked upon as a serious threat to the big dawgs, so this injury on him will be a harsh blow for the guy in terms of the team giving him a chance at recovery and working his way back to 100% especially riding for a 1 man team with Suzuki. I think he does deserve a shot to prove himself in MotoGP but then again he might slip through the cracks and have to work his way back up again through the lower series ala Toni Elias. Whatever the case, hope for a quick recovery for him.

Toby Moody

Asked Casey & Nakamoto about potential water or oil leak onto his boot at end of session. Both avoided answering,

Nakamoto by walking off.

????????????????????????????????????????

Comeon Pidg!

work it out ...... it was something best left "unsaid" .....

Stoner had just almost gone sub 1 55 at Qatar ........ sub 2. 00 would make most mortals piss in their pants ......

I'd say if you are pushing 1 .56 your boots would at least be full .....

i think in 10 years time the truth will come out about stoner. about how crazy fast he really is and where credit will be actually be given to him. watch the comments given to him espsecially those who have now ridden the ducati Rossi, Loris and hayden... he done things on it that no other rider can come close to replicatiing. things like this will eventually come out when they are not competing against one another any more

Actually some candid and accurate assessments have come from some of his competitors- all Americans.

Spies and Edwards have been quite outspoken about Stoners crazy speed and Hayden made that famous quote after his first ride on the Ducati , something like "Whatever they are paying Casey, it is nowhere nere enough".

I haven,t seen Stoner,s other European competitors being quite so generous. Rossi said that Casey rode like a god in early 2007, but on discovering the reality of the threat that Stoner represented, has been loath to be as generous since (for obvious reasons -diminish, diminish).

The Americans come out as honest and generous when it counts. I wish SS and yourself would acknowledge that and keep off Haydens back. I agree that Hayden is not in the worlds top 5 now,and has been uniquely favoured in the bike department (factory rides) but you guys just go on and on all the time..............

Nicky won a world title , and although many things went his way that year, he still had to get the points to win the title.

Give him respect for that.

Edwards has always acknowleged Caseys speed, and Spies from day one saw Casey as the one guy that perhaps he could never match. Smart guy that Spies!

All 3 Americans are a credit to their sport, and if Stoner (god forbid) get injured, I would be rooting for Spies.

Looking more positive for race day with the Factory Yams finding a big 'something' and other Honda's catching up very significantly, IMO Pedders will end up with pole and Spies may even end up on the front row......

Terrible news about Bautista. We can,t afford to lose any more riders.

Perhaps Honda should make 40 of their gp bikes and bring up most of the moto2 crowd, and then we could possibly get some close racing with a large field?? I know, we would lose the interbrand rivalry.

From his riding so far, I would say Bautista is a top level rider. He outperformed capirossi who is no mug.

The Suzuki makes him look worse than what he is. I would rate him similar to Doviziosa/ Simoncelli.

SS,s comments were, as usual, unnecessarily harsh and also inaccurate.

Ouch..

Lets hope it's just a connecting hose leaking or something.I bet there'll be an investigation tonight.

Edit:If the explanation is -It's the electronics-then there could be trouble.
<

i'm a motogp noob..can someone explain how the 2008 record still stands considering the developments on the bike? spec tires?

putting all the 'my guys is quick, your guy is slow' rubbish to one side, i have found it great just to have some GP action back. They are all brilliant, and i'm seriously excited for the season ahead. Gutted to hear about Bautista, i hope he can recover without any complications.

Cal Crutches seems to be getting more comfortable with the Yamaha. I read somewhere that his team did a setup change on the bike and he immediately felt the difference and was able to make the bike turn better. Sure looks that way for now seeing as he's only .1s behind his teammate.

No, negative comments about stoner rather than about rossi are an entirely different thing, he is just calling it as he sees it
<
.

HOLY CRAP! Do my eyes deceive me? Is that really you Migs? Wow, welcome back.

(Go USA!)

Yeah, good to have you back, Migs. Burky too.

Pertaining to this weekend, is Hopper back in MotoGP or are Suzuki going to catch an early flight out? If he can qualify he's in, right?

Subtext Michael. You and I know exactly where he is coming from. He,s just being a bit more subtle about it than usual.

The Diplomat is not needed here. Kevin has a spare seat on his plane for Tobruk, leaving shortly.
<

I,ve noticed the same phenomenom over all the forums...........the Rossifans are mostly predicting Pedrosa to beat Stoner, or expect "crashy" Stoner to return, little understanding the fact that the high crash rate was due to the lack of feedback from the Ducati front end ( the feedback that tells you that the front tyre is about to let go).

Its pretty obvious Buny, not sure why Michael attempts to justify it.
<

I put this new "Boppers backing Pedrosa" phenomenon down to the problem ( for them ) that they feel they need to hate Stoner ( the reason for which was based in the fact that he is Rossi's true nemesis ), but since Rossi is no longer up there or looking able to ever placate them, or give them backing, they have maintained the Stoner hate but merely switched the label that may give them a win at times
<
hence a reason ( albeit illogical
<
) for their sooking at Stoner.
