Jeremy is 41, he may have been out of it for too long. I do know he is still superfit, always said it would have been great to see him on a Honda, perhaps 10 years ago would have been better.
Listen did you guys know that Jeremy only started racing when he was 25?

I was reading crash.net.
They said Dorna really wants to stick a Brit in there.
Haslam, Hodgeson, Byrne, and McWilliams were in the frame for that seat.

All of them have prior experience in the class and are well-known names. I bet they could learn a thing or two from Barros who has been there a loooooooooong time.

EDIT: Oh and the two Ilmor seats are still open too.

no only one Ilmor is open, McCoy is one for sure, i read Mcwilliams might be the 2nd.

I thought Leon might have gone to Tech3, aftter his comments at valencia about Dunlops (he's on dunlops now & the new motogp tyre regs)..........but they annouced yesterday they signed that 250 french dude.

He needs to get on that Ducati Pramac with Barros..................but will they sign Hoffmiester?......................why has hoffman got a ride in the first place? Token German?

Gibbers gibbers........

Yeh how about that hailstorm. 200 massive dints on my roof of my car. thanks god

Hayden fans, are u guys pissed that he is using the #1 on his bike? i am! reason being simply in my opinion riders who straight out take the number 1 know they will never get it again so they take the years worth of fame by having it.
Im not having a go at hayden cause im also a fan.
Anyways it better than #69

If a new rider joined wanting 69 could they take it in 2007?

Good job Katt.. but you might wanna add the tire guys in there... KM Honda is gonna stick with Michelins even though Bridgestones themselves confirmed with crash.net that they have KM to go with them, but as we know, Gresini has more influence on the paddock... Sito Pons is going back to 250 confirmed... and will build up from there again... I doubt KR will have a second rider unless they can find a big sponsor.. Ilmor too.. McCoy's time was pretty good at Valencia.. Pitts and McWilliams times were unimpressive by mgp standards... I don't see Sete coming back unless he takes a huge paycut and join the other teams...

Good to see Pedrosa sticking with Repsol Honda. I don't if he prefers these bikes but I guess I will know alot more when the season starts again. Going to be a tough year this time I feel.

ah ta! my boredom payed off!... i shall add the tyre guys in now...

re: Pitt and McWilliams ... their times may not be up to standard, but both are excellent development riders and have a fair bit of experience behind them. Guys like Pitty who can simply hop on a bike and put on consistent laps would be helpful for a new team ... wouldn't surprise me if Ilmor took either one on ...

and as for sete ... i can dream. he'll be take a 100% paycut if he doesn't get his ... into gear and join a team. .... or retirement looms....

haha ... morgo i know what you mean about the no. 1 plate ... ive thought the same.

The ad could have the rider in a speed tuck, and the motto "Head(s) First"

Yamalube in BIG letters as well.
you have a "vivid"imagination

i bit off topic - with the bikes now going down to 800cc do you guys think that aprilia will come back to motogp?

No word yet, but another Italian firm that is now owned by a Chinese firm has made plans to put them into MotoGP in 2008

Looks like Hayden winning the championship saved Pedrosa's ...!
<

But i don't think it would of been a pretty season for them two next season if he didn't win it

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (richo @ Nov 8 2006, 06:25 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Pedrosa's contract was signed long before he crashed into Hayden at Estoril.

Yea but that's still not saying they couldn't let him go before the season starts
