Petrucci made mince meat of the AMA paddock, though Gange was having problems so maybe it will be a bit more competitive over the season.
Still shocked that the Ducati has a significant straight line speed advantage after 2-3 seasons of the SBK balancing concept. I guess the new thing is power to weight, and Ducati have got the system beat.
SBK needs to get it together. Cutting unnecessary costs is a good idea, but they need minimum bike-rider weight for everyone, not power-weight equivalency.
Will be interesting to see how Petrucci does on tracks he's not familiar with. And where was Josh Herrin? Did he get hurt? I didn't watch all the pre-race stuff.
