VISORDOWN'S MOTOGP mole has unearthed an unofficial report that Kawasaki has been chosen as the sole engine supplier for the new Moto2 race series.
Our source alleges that a deal's already been cut for Kawasaki to supply the one-make engines for the class, despite Dorna's claims that the contract is still open for tender. Apparently, the deal has been done on the quiet to keep Kawasaki involved in the MotoGP circus.
Last month Visordown reported that Blusens team had shelved their Moto2 project after Dorna's announcement of the single engine supply rule.
